Knowing the Meaning
A friend sent me this cartoon this week, which instantly made me giggle and became my day’s delight. Yet I also thought about how often I don’t quite know the meaning of what is being said or being asked of me.
That is the case now as I navigate my way into turning 50, raising older teens, shifting my attention toward new education opportunities and career shifts. It’s what I find myself navigating as I try to participate in the world as it is now. There are so many shifts in paradigms that are confusing, shifts in the way of relating that sometimes make my head spin and heart hurt.
